MyAXA eHealthCard

Client: Axa Insurance  | 2018

Background

eHealthCard was one of the core features of MyAXA. The digital card was recognised through partnership with AXA medical providers

The key benefit for the users was the convenience of not having to worry about the physical Health Card when visiting their general Practitioner and other AXA Network Doctors

However, the initial feature was limited to the primary policy holder and was a static image of their physical card, which meant that the details of the card still had to be manually transferred to the doctors system.

The feature was improved to further simplify the interaction between patient and admin staff, for both parties.

Primary Card holder could see and use all health cards associated with his account (Primary + Dependants)

A QR code containing all the card details was enabled in the card. This allowed medical Admin staff to process information much faster.

A comprehensive list of Medical providers was enabled in the app allowing the user to quickly share their health cards details straight from the app, without having to worry about finding the correct contact information for each medical provider. The user can leverage this functionality both on site but also to plan consultations.

 

Process

Once mapping out the information flow, the focus was on making sure the user interface is extremely simple as possible. The designed allowed the user to scan the card in 3 clicks and send the card 5 clicks..The UI was tested internally .
